What We Do

Core America is the world’s leader in providing consulting expertise and software to facility management and cleaning organizations. Based in Vestal, NY and founded in 1995, we serve corporations, hospitals, universities, school districts, and facilities of all sizes across the globe.

Our Story

1995

Tony Maione, David Maione, and Steve Chaszar found Core Management Services, a consulting company with a singular, niche passion: helping organizations improve their cleaning programs and contracts.

1995

1998

Core develops its first software tool for the cleaning industry: Smart Load(trademark) workloading and staffing software.

1998

2002

Core develops its own quality inspection software for the cleaning industry: Smart Inspect(trademark). Although originally developed for Core's own third-party audits, Smart Inspect begins expanding as Core's customers, along with building service providers, begin using the software for their own inspections.

2005

Our first international experience, when a major pharmaceutical company expands Core's project scope to include facilities in France, Belgium, and Spain.

Core launches its first app, as the Smart Inspect(trademark) software is completely redesigned and formatted as an app on smart phones and tablets.

We develop and launch Smart Tickets(trademark), a scheduling and work order app for corrective action, tickets, and the management of cleaning project work.

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Core designs Simple Check(trademark), a compliance app that uses checklists and QR codes for disinfecting logbooks and compliance management
